Ornamental Peanut Golden Glory
The Basics
Golden Glory features dainty yellow pea-like flowers rising above the foliage from mid spring to mid fall. It's attractive oval compound leaves remain emerald green in color throughout the year. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
The Needs
Amount of sunlight: Full sun / Little shade
Amount of water: water regularly until established,
Soil conditions: well drained soil
Cold hardiness zone: 8b-11
The Care
Golden Glory grows well in full to mostly sun, in most soil types, and requires average to low water needs. Can be mowed frequently if desired and will actually bloom heavier and longer. Golden Glory makes it's own fertilizer by capturing nitrogen from the air. This groundcover is obviously easy to grow and has low maintenance requirements.
