Upright Juniper: Blue Point
The Basics
This upright evergreen’s foliage has a mixture of blue-green scales and needles. Its extremely dense and pyramidal growth habit reaches 10-12 feet tall(6-8 feet wide). Its size and density make it ideally used as a hedge, groundcover, screen and windbreak.
The Needs
Amount of Sunlight: Thrives in full sun; Tolerates shade
Amount of Water: Water regularly; more frequent watering in extreme heat
Soil Conditions: Prefers well-drained soil
Cold Hardiness Zone: 4-9
The Care
This easy-to-grow evergreen shrub needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Shear annually to maintain desired shape.
